拍品描述: Mens Rolex MONTE CARLO Tudor Oysterdate 7159 Chronograph Watch case No. 843407, Ref. 7159/0, case made by Rolex, Geneva. Made in the 1970's. Fine and rare, water-resistant, stainless steel wristwatch with date, round-button chronograph, register, tachometer and a stainless steel Rolex Oyster bracelet. C. Three-body, polished and brushed, screwed-down engraved case back, crown and buttons, tachometer graduation on the steel bezel to 500 units per hour, Twinlock winding crown protected by the crown guard, crystal with cyclops lens. D. Bicolor anthracite and black with luminous baton indexes, outer 1/5th seconds scale with 5 minute/second red Arabic markers, subsidiary dials for the seconds and the 45-minute register, aperture for the date at 6. Luminous steel baton hands, orange chronograph hand. M. Cal. 234, rhodium-plated, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock absorber, self-compensating fl at balance spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 40 mm. Thickness 13 mm. Approx overall length 180 mm. - This rare and important timepiece comes with the original 20mm ROLEX Folded Oyster Steel 7836 bracelet, original Tudor presentation box, papers and hang tag as seen, just fully serviced, is in excellent running condition and would make an impressive addition to any truly strong watch collection.
