拍品描述: Description: Islamic Art. Two Fatimid textile fragments Egypt, 8th century . One embroidered with red calligraphy over cream ground; the other embroidered with an animal within oval cartouche with alternated colored round pattern. Fatimid textiles are very rare because of the perishability of the material but, since they were much appreciated in the West, they can be detected in churches tresors. Various measurements. Cm 16,00 x 17,50.
