拍品描述: Japan. Edo period. 19th c. Maritime ivory, presumably tooth of a sperm whale, brown coloring with engraved details and dark accentuations. Expressive depiction of a bat in mid-air. Height 3.9cm, width 6.7cm. Sign.: Tomokoto, cf. MCI p. 904. Condition A/B. Age cracks.
