depiction of the reformer and founder of the Gelugpa Order on a double lotus throne, he holds his hands in front of his chest in the gesture of teaching (dharmacakra-mudra), his head is covered with the characteristic pointed cap, his garment is lined with ornamented borders, a very appealing round face wearing an agreeable youthful serene expression, there is a blossoming lotus flower at each of his shoulder carrying the attributes of the Wisdom Bodhisattva Manjushri, the book and the sword,who is also known as the patron of the scholar, Tsongkapa is said to be the incarnation of Manjushri, base sealed and engraved with a double dorje with enclosed Svastika symbol, gilt worn, H.c.14,5cm
