THREE EGYPTIAN BRONZE FIGURES OF OSIRIS LATE PERIOD, AFTER 600 B.C. Of typical mummiform, each holding the crook and flail, one finely cast with plaited false beard, the atef crown and frontal uraeus with incised detail, 14.3cm high; another with thin body, the side plumes of the crown now missing, 16.7cm high, and a small amuletic example with loop behind the neck for suspension, a tang below the underside of the base, 13cm high including tang, two mounted on old marble collection bases, ink inscribed on the front, the third on a porphyry base Condition Report: With wear, marks, knocks and scratches as per age, handling, use, and cleaning. The 1st listed: the plumes and the horn of the atef crown, as well as the uraei are chipped and missing in places. The whole surface is worn and covered with fine incised short strokes, many with white ?gesso showing through. There are patches of what appears to be gesso around the beard, arms, implements and neck area. There are patches of corrosion, particularly visible on the back and around the hands and near the base. The inlaid eyes have irregular shaped pupils which may stand proud of the eye whites and are of an irregular shape. There is a chip to the back corner of the marble base, to which the figure is attached. A label on the underside of the base. The 2nd listed: The side plumes are missing, though the indents for where they would have been attached are visible and the top of the White Crown is chipped. The whole surface is worn with and corroded with a partially restored foot which is affixed to the marble base. The marble base has minor chips along some edges. A label on the underside of the base. The 3rd listed: The smallest shabti has a worn surface and worn edges to the side plumes and top of the crown. There is some corrosion to the overall surface.
