拍品描述: Deluxe 5 Volumes of Paintings and Statues from the Collection of President Sukarno of the Republic of Indonesia, January 1, 1964. Folio. Light age related wear, slight moisture wrinkles to Vol IV, all but Vol IV with red dust jacket and board slipcase, light wear to edges of red dust jackets. NOTE: Sukarno was the first President of Indonesia after its independence from the Netherlands in 1949. These books were published two years before his replacement to Suharto. Sukarno, who had 9 wives collected mostly images of nude females. Volume 5 includes close to 100 color images of Chinese and Asian Antique Ceramics.
