A Chinese red silk women’s skirt, Qing Dynasty, late 19th century, embroidered with blue silk threads, the central flower embroidered with Pekin knot stitch and the cotton waistband has been replaced with a black silk so the skirt could be worn by a western lady and the original waistband is missing, approximately 83cm high, also with later black silk belt
