Ω A large Cantonese ivory two-handled vase, early 19th century, intricately carved in two parts, in a high-relief with a continuous panorama of warriors on horseback, standing figures, pine trees and pagodas, lion mask and ring handles, Qianlong mark carved four character seal mark within double line border, 38cm high x 14.5cm wide x 11.5cm deep
Provenance: ‘Mr. Ko’ who worked for the Chinese Postal Service from 1904-1947 and then by direct family descent.
