Brown hardwood, traces of dark patina and blue pigment on coiffure, nail heads as pupils. Compact, strong build, head and face very finely worked, body simplified. Triangular face shape seen from the side, strong bulging forehead bone, nose, mouth and chin precisely and powerfully carved, high semi-circular two-stage tightened crested coiffure, scarification marks on face, ears placed far back, round thick disc base. Volume rubbed off by age and use. Old insect caused damage in several places. Estate of Horst Danzer. (315)
