From a Tokaido series on the picaresque novel of Ikku Jippensha "Tokaido Hizakurige", the 46th station, "Ujibashi". (Uji Bridge). The hustle and bustle on the bridge, behind the evening haze roofs of the Shinto temple Iseshingu. Seals: Tame and Nobu. Good impression with blind printing, backed, slightly faded and yellowed, slightly damaged at upper left. (381)
