From the series "Gakuya no nikai kage no hyoban" (Popular dressing rooms on the first floor). Half-length portrait of Onoe Kikugoro V as Kyukichi, a dresser holds a headdress for him. Sign.: Toyohara Kunichika hitsu. Publisher: Takazawa Fusajiro. Excellent impression, fresh in color, with visible wood grain and Baren printing lines (gray areas), lightly trimmed, red a little bit run off (cartouche with actor's name), glued at upper corners, a little bit yellowed.
