拍品描述: Description
From the series "Genji kumo ukiyoe awase" (In reference to the cloudy chapters of the Genji novel), chapter "Wakana no jo" (Young Grasses). Soga Juro Sukenari, stands next to Kobayashi Asahina, the villain of the play, in a sogamono play. Asahina wears a sumo apron and is in full body make-up. Young grasses, kitchen knives and mashers on a board in front of him. Sign: Ichiyusai Kuniyoshi ga. Publisher: Iseya Ichibei. Censored by: Murata. Colour gradient. Good impression with blindstamping (pattern in the garment of Sukenari), centrefold, stitching holes, margins minimally soiled and a little bit trimmed. (351)
