Iwai Hanshiro as Shinanoya Ohan and Bando Mitsugoro as Obiya Choemon, Ishibe Yadoya scene in Katsuragawa renri no Shigarami. Young Ohan, daughter of an obi merchant in Kyoto, falls in love with the older Choemon, who is carrying his precious sword blade, in an inn. Sign.: Gototei Kunisada ga. Publisher: Yamamotoya Heikichi. Censored by Kiwame. Excellent impression with blind embossing (pattern in robes), slightly faded, backed, rubbed, minor wormholes to margins, little trimmed, slightly soiled (367).
