A Group of Two ōban Yoko-e Prints, One Chūban Tate-e Print, and One ōban Yoko-e Print
Edo period (1615-1868), circa 1835-42 and 1852
The first, an ōban yoko-e print entitled Nihonbashi Yukibare no zu (Clear Weather After Snow at Nihonbashi) from the series Shinsen Edo meisho (Newly Selected Famous Places of Edo), signed Ichiryūsai Hiroshige ga; the second, an ōban yoko-e print entitled Fukagawa Hachiman keidai (The Precincts of Hachiman Shrine at Fukagawa) from the series Edo kōmei kaitei zukushi (Famous Restaurants of Edo), depicting the Nikenjaya Double Teahouse, signed Hiroshige ga and published by Fujiokaya Hikotarō (Shōgendō); the third, a chūban tate-e print entitled Mishima from the series Gojūsan tsugi (Fifty-three Stations), signed Hiroshige ga and published by Murataya Ichigorō (Muraichi); the fourth, an ōban yoko-e print entitled Dai nana, Okegawa shuku, kōgen no kei (Number 7, Okegawa Station, a View of the Plain), from the series Kisokaidō (The Kisokaidō), published by Takenouchi Magohachi (Hoeidō) (4)
