QING DYNASTY, 18TH / 19TH CENTURY
carved in layers of relief with a bat suspended from a doublegourd
pendant amidst large furled leaves and prunus blossoms
issuing from gnarled branches, the rich pink translucent stone
pierced with a silk cord fastened with knotted seed pearls
clustered around emerald-green jadeite
