拍品描述
This is a wonderful hand worked and etched silver & copper pendant from the Plains Native American Indians. The piece is from circa 1800-1850 and is strung on a copper and rich red faceted glass trade beads (from 18th-19th century) necklace. The pendant is a large oblong shape with a worked silver base and applied copper oval center piece with a hand etched portrait of the "Drunken Indian" holding a bottle and war club. This is a famous and desirable image. The pendant has a hanging accent across the bottom with the crowned lion and fleur de lis hallmarks. The pendant measures 9 5/8"L x 3 7/8"W with a 36.5" circumference necklace. The piece is in a glass topped black display case that measures 12.25"x16.25".
