Chinese Qing Dynasty Gilt Bronze Guangong:
Qing Dynasty era fine gilt bronze often called Lord Guan, who died in 220 AD, played a role in the civil war that led to the collapse of the dynasty and the establishment of the state of Shu Han. He is shown here wearing a helmet and stroking his beard with one hand, his other hand on his hip. He wears armor and is seated on a geometric pedestal. His hair, eyebrows and beard are in a dark patina. Marked with incised floral yin yang mark.

Condition:There is a slight patina to the bronze and some discoloration to the metal. There are small fissures on the edges of the bottom of the piece. Small scratches and a few dents are visible on the arms, legs and back.
