拍品描述: VERY FINE, extraordinary Yuan Dynasty Chinese porcelain MeiPing vase, sturdily potted in wide body, with swelled round shoulder, waisted gracefully down to flat base, with short neck leading to a banded rim and narrow opening. Delicately decorated around the exterior with variegate tones and shades of cobalt blue underglazed of striding three-toe dragon in pursuit of flaming pearl amidst flames. The collar interspersed with water foliate amidst geometrical wavy cresting water diaper inside a ruyi shaped cartouche. The foot banded with upright lappets enclosing the suspending clouds Uptala. The glaze terminated slightly before the foot rim, revealed the pale-creme ground with burnt orange and darker spots in the firing with some white glazed spots. Initiated conjugated mark between lower and upper body can be seen from uneven surface along the shoulder. Elegantly displayed upon a carved hardwood stand.
