The Chinese Qing Dynasty porcelain moon flask is Sturdily potted vase of flattened globular body, with narrow straight neck below the flat rim, supported on a concave splayed foot oval base. Two scrolling foliate handles flanked from shoulder to the neck. The exterior decorated with cobalt on a white porcelain body covered with a clear colorless glaze, resembled eight petal lappets radiating from a centralized tri-crossed vajra medallion, each petal enclosing one of the Eight Buddhist Emblems, bordered with bands of key fret patterns and further smaller lappet petals. The sides and neck interspersed by dense of lotus scrolling foliate. Displayed exquisitely upon a carved hardwood stand in leafy lappets motif. The shape is uniformly proportioned. The porcelain conformed all required specimen to be high valued Chinese GuanYao porcelain Imperial wares , with finest material, the whiteness, the glaze, the painting, and the shape. Without overlap the outlines of the design, well drawn, clear, subtle, and distinct. The clay is fine and exquisite, the glaze smooth, brilliant with a moist appearance, the finishing meticulous.
Mark on base, a six blue seal script -ZhuanShu- characters reign mark, QianLong Reign Period of Great Qing.
