拍品描述: A VERY FINE carved Chinese jade Large table Screen with hardwood frame.
A gorgeous portion rectangular Nephrite Jade stone expertly carved depicted group of elderly sages and attendant traversing on their path between rocky outcrop and dense of shading forest trees within mountainous landscape in deep relief, alternately on verso panel, of pavilions along waterside scenery in gilt. Framed within a carved hardwood frame adorned with carved green floral inlaid within the ribbon diaper. Characterized with arched dragon relief on top of the frame. The carving is exquisite and smooth, with beautiful translucent, grayish-celadon clean tones and moist milky appearance. Viewers of these work are meant to identify with a human figure in the painting, allowing them to walk through and dwell in the landscape.
