Dominic Man-Kit Lam discovered the chromoskedasic process of creating images on photographic paper in 1980 while he was doing research in the field of physiology of perception. A highly regarded eye doctor by vocation, his work was the recent focus of an exhibition at the Shanghai Art Museum, and he has collaborated with Zhang Daqian, Guan Shanyue, and Zhao Shao'ang.
