The bolt of medium blue color, woven with
dragons, phoenixes and clouds, the lower
hem woven with the inscription Jiangnan
zhi zao chen qing ling; the second woven
with stylized bird roundels in alternation with
four-petal flower heads in shades of blue on
a rose madder ground: the third woven with
phoenix and dragon roundels set against a
square-sectioned lattice in various colors on
a blue-green ground, the lower margin woven
with the inscription De yuan xing ben ji; and
two pieces of the same pale yellow ground
brocade woven with an intricate mirror back
design, the shorter piece of complete width,
the longer piece of half-width. [5]
