Daoguang mark, 19th century
The flat cover painted with a dragon grasping a flaming pearl amid
clouds and the compressed globular box encircled by further
clouds and bats hovering above a band of rocks and waves using
a combination of iron red, opaque white and black outline with pale
green and blue highlights, the base bearing the six-character mark in
iron red seal script enclosed within a square.
