Kangxi period
The jar molded with a wide mouth and ample body of elongated
ovoid form painted with large scale peony blossoms issuing from
scrolling leafy tendril set between decorative bands at the base,
shoulder and neck (cracks, chips, retouching); the associated cover
with lotus bud finial painted with flowering branches and insects
within six flower petal reserves (chips).
