Both incised in the Republic era Tiehua Xuan style, one a covered
circular box with four discrete interior sections, the exterior bearing
an incised Gengyin date (equivalent to 1950) with an artist signature
and the underside bearing an impressed Wu Desheng zhi mark; the
second a melom form brush washer of darker hued clay and bearing
the same artist’s incised signature.
