The first a circular bowl with in-curving rim and thick walls tapering
sharply inward to a flat base raised on three small knob feet, the
mottled red glaze covering the exterior wall, feet, and part of the
interior walls above a celadon tinged glaze, the flat base unglazed
and burnt a pale brown (hairline crack); the second a bottle vase
with a waisted neck and compressed globular body with a mottled
red glaze that thins to a pale olive along the lip, the foot pad and
recessed base left unglazed (both containers with production chips
to base).
