Han dynasty
The larger in the shape of a ram with curving horns its hollow body
surmounted by a funnel shaped opening at the top of the back, the
fabric fired to a rosy brown and showing traces of gesso beneath the
burial adhesions; the second a gray pottery lion with an open jaw and
circular aperture cut to the center of the back, the top of the rump
and to the underside, the surfaces showing traces of gesso beneath
the burial adhesions.
