Displaying an intense expression beneath a prominent semiprecious
stone inlaid into his urna, the monk attired in elaborately
rendered garb of raised shou medallions and incised auspicious
emblems, holding his right hand aloft in the abhayamudra gesture of
fearlessness while his left rests in dhyana above his upturned feet, all
raised atop an elaborate lotus plinth; his gilt inner robes and exposed
skin contrasting with the remaining silver-colored surfaces of the
outer robes, hair and plinth.
