The first, a likely Mongolian wooden bowl surmounted by a cast
silver lid adorned in coral and turquoise cabochons, and supported
by a base surrounded by an impressively cast and reticulated band
of Eight Auspicious Emblem motifs, above the foot rim encircling an
intricately rendered separately-cast dragon unexpectedly centering
the recessed base; the second, a possibly Nepalese rectangular giltmetal
box covered by numerous lapis and coral cabochons on an
intricately filigreed gilt background forming a Hindu or Buddhist deity
centering the hinged lid.
