拍品描述: EFIM EFIMOVICH VOLKOV (RUSSIAN 1844-1920) Crimean landscape oil on canvas laid on board 59 x 84 cm. (23 1/4 x 33 in.) signed E. Volkov lower right Condition : Very good Efim Efimovich Volkov (1844-1920) Volkov Efim Efimovich - landscape painter, was born in St. Petersburg in 1844, studied at the Drawing School painter Society for the Encouragement of Artists (1866) and the Academy of Fine Arts (1867-1870). Consisted of the Association of Traveling Art Exhibitions (1880-1918). In 1870 he received the title of Academy neklassnogo artist in favor of the exhibition of this year "Kind of in the vicinity of Petersburg." In 1878 he joined the Association of Traveling Art Exhibitions and since then has appeared annually at them with his paintings, using for them a reputation as one of the best painters of Russian, mainly northern nature.
