textured reddish brown fine wood, partly polished, full round depiction of a mythological scene: a large figure of a majestic bird of prey clutching or forcing down a lifeless female body and a male warrior figure,both wearing the attire of Hindu gods, the male appears to be at the mercy of the giant bird, the latter lowering his head and touching his chest with his sharp beak, the warrior's right sword arm powerless, the weapon useless, at the bottom a small figure of a lamb, apparently dead, on a rocky ground, about 16 x 27 x 12 cm
