The seated foreigner is well-potted with one knee upright and the other bent horizontally, his two arms cradling a large wine vessel with a foliate mouth. His head is turned slightly to one side with characterful features, including a large nose, bulging round eyes, and his forehead tied around with a fillet. It is covered overall with a crackled glaze with touches of green and amber splashed over a cream ground.
