拍品描述: 3 volumes of general De Marbot's memoirs. 1891 edition for the French Republic Interior Ministry library. Jean Baptiste de Marbot (1782-1854) - French general and writer, participant of Napoleonic wars, described as "an educated man, who expresses himself simply, well, and correctly in writing" by Napoleon Bonaparte himself. General De Marbot memoirs contain descriptions of different Napoleon's battles, such as The Battle of Austerlitz, The Battle of Eylau and The Battle of Waterloo. Dimensions: 20.5 x 14 cm.
