拍品描述: Seven various pairs of silver sugar tongs, comprising:- a George III pierced cast arm pair with shell grips, the bow engraved with flowers and initialled "SA", by John McFerlan, London, circa 1775; a George III bright-engraved pair, London, 1789; another bright-engraved pair by William Worthington, London, circa 1790; a plain pair, London, 1812; another plain pair, London, 1820; and a 19th century Continental pair, wt. 189 gm. First pair has a small crack and a small split in piercing of arms, second pair repaired with patch inside bow, third pairhas dings to grips .
