拍品描述: An Edwardian silver postal scales by Levi & Salaman, Birmingham, 1902, the rectangular base with wavy rim, 8 cm. high. Overall good condition but the two plastic strips with weights thereon have come unstuck and one appears to have been re-inked/restored. These might in fact both be replacements as there was once a whole arch-shaped panel at front that is now absent or perhaps these 2 strips are all that remains of the cannibalised panel.There is a small hole on right side that probably once held a silver pin. The base does not sit entirely flush with flat surface and will require gentle straightening.
