Jade bowl and cover
Chinese, 18th/19th Century
of tapering form, with slightly raised circular raised rim handle to the lid, 11cm diameter x 7.2cm high
Provenance: Given by Rosemary Lazenby to a relative of the vendor. Rosemary and Monty Lazenby amassed a large Chinese collection early in the 20th Century, part of which can be seen at Marble Hill House, Twickenham, bequeathed via the Lazenby National Art Collection Fund bequest.
Hair crack to the bowl, and natural imperfections and inclusions. Untested.
