Soapstone model of a Buddhistic lion and cubs
Chinese, 19th Century
the open mouthed lion with front foot resting on a ball, with four lion cubs playing on its back, with carved hardwood stand, 19cm long x 11cm high, excluding stand.
One of the lion's fangs is chipped off halfway, further very minor losses and wear commensurate with the age. The stand has some minor chips.
