Peach bloom water pot of beehive form
Chinese, Kangxi (1662-1722)
with short neck and lipped rim, the dark red glaze with scattered green flecking and with incised decoration. The white glaze base bearing a Kangxi six character mark and period, 9cm x 13.5cm
Note- from the same family estate and Chinese collection as lots 285-288, a collection of 18th Century rhinoceros horn libation cups, sold in these rooms 30th October 2019
Provenance: from an Oxford deceased estate.
Some crazing to the body, and some firing imperfections including a small firing crack in the foot rim.
