Large jun glaze ceramic 'Hill' jar and cover
Chinese, 19th Century
decorated with a turquoise glaze with dark purple splashes, the lid moulded as a hill or mountain, supported by three stylised feet, 45cm high
Provenance: From the collection of the late Professor R M Hicks, OBE
Purchased from Kevin Trevor 28th October 2005 at the East Berks Antique fair, it was sold as Yuan dynasty but we feel like it might be later
One of the legs has been off and repaired, other condition issues
