Grey pottery horse
Chinese, probably Northern Wei period
with traces of red pigment, modelled with winged saddle flaps, with a letter from the Oxford Research laboratory confirming that the sample from the buttock showed that it had been fired during the Wei period but the sample from the head showed restoration so were unable to give a report, 32.5cm high x 22cm across

Purchased from Danny Ma in May 1994
