Chinese creme Nephrite jade, finely carved unto a slightly tapered globular body, raised on tripod squat legs. With domed lid supported a dragon finial. Two dragon masks emerged from the opening rim, each suspending a free ring. The exterior adorned in shallow relief carving of stylized floral tendrils formed a symmetrical geometric pattern resembled a silk worms. The Jade stone is smooth, translucent with moist milky appearance, with some golden-russet inclusions. Provenance: North Carolina private collector
