拍品描述: Chinese gilt bronze Bodhisattvas figure of Avalokiteshvara (Chinese, manifestation of GuanYin).
A Bodhisattva figure of seated Avalokiteshvara, The face has well-defined, arched brows above elongated, almond-shaped eyes. Hair is piled in a topknot, some falling loose across the shoulders, tied with flowers. Adorned with jewel and crown, both hands raised on chest level, holding Vajras. Seated in full crossed legs, right over left, upon a double lotus throne.
Extensive trace of gilt remain on surface, with hints of blue pigment on hair.

Mark on pedestal, six incised script -KaiShu- characters, YongLe Reign Period of Great Ming
