The central cavetto decorated in gilt over glaze hand painting with tri-branching floral within a ruyi band conforming the cavetto, interspersed with four Buddhist emblems on the rim before further ruyi bands on the outer rim. Provenance: Consigned by the heir of M Nye, these items have records that were purchased from the estate of "The Goods & Chattels of Martha Mace". Located in New Sewickley Township, Pennsylvania; these records are dated Oct 1866.
