拍品描述: A Pair of Chinese Famille Rose Porcelain Elephant-Form Candlesticks LATE 19TH CENTURY 清晚期粉彩太平有象一對 each depicted standing foursquare with muscular necks supporting glances cast backward, the tails relaxed, harnessed in elaborate tack and beaded crownpieces, with ruyi-collar form saddle blankets beneath ornate molded vases serving as candleholders, all? ? ? ? raised above a well-carved cantilevered hardwood stand. Height 9 in., 23 cm. Alice Motley Woodbury (1859-1933) Margaret Woodbury Strong (1897-1969), by descent. Accessioned by the Strong in 1975.

Please note the all property must be removed from our premises within seven (7) business days following the last day of the auction. Leslie Hindman Auctioneers reserves the right to charge $5 per lot per day or to deliver said property to a public warehouse for storage at the purchaser's expense.
