Ming revival porcelains were popular in the fi rst half of the Kangxi period. The present dish closely resembles its Jiajing imperial prototype. A Jiajing mark and period example from the Pilkington Collection was sold recently in our Hong Kong rooms 6th April 2016, lot 34.
