fi nely-potted, the globular body raised on a short slightly splayed foot to a tall cylindrical neck and wide galleried mouth rim, molded with horizontal ribs to the body, shoulder and neck, fi nely painted around the body with two registers of archaistic phoenix and kuilong amidst a dense ground of scrolling lotus, all above a band of overlapping lappets at the foot, the neck painted with three registers of suspended chimes and auspicious emblems, all below a broad band of upright lappets and a cloud scroll border at the rim
