A Chinese blue and white brush water box and an oviform porcelain attachment. The box designed to hold water in side and brush holding on the lid, decorated with scrolling flowers. The oviform porcelain is possibly a decorative attachment on the official hat or on the belt, blue and white landscape over the body. 18th century. The box with two hairline cracks and the glaze of attachment is worn. Box 9.5cm long*4cm high, attachment 4cm long. Property from an English gentleman ’s collection purchased in 1970’s from China
