A Chinese Export silver filigree card case, maker's mark YKC, unidentified but attributed to Canton, circa 1890, shaped rectangular with projecting points either side, pull-off cover with small applied vacant reserve to take a crest or initials, the central panel applied with a dragon and flowers, the maker's mark on a small applied rectangular silver label with cut corners, 9 cm. high, wt. 42 gm.; also a late Victorian silver-plated purse engraved with foliate scrolls around vacant shield to front, reverse plain, with chain and finger ring, lined in bluey-green silk, (2). Card case:- All the filigree appears to be intact and no losses but some areas have been pushed down in places and some gentle straightening is required, in one or two places small silver solder visible that may be in the making or tiny repairs (?). Purse has some small areas of wear to plating on the plain back
