拍品描述: A rare late 17th century silver bougie box, maker's mark only MB conjoined and crowned, untraced, circa 1690, front engraved with crest of a stag lodged, collared and lined flanked by plumed mantling, for Brocket of Brocket Hall, Herts. and of Stains Hall, Essex, 5 cm. high, wt. 54 gm. Maker's mark only to base, there is a tiny rectanular patch approx. 0.75 cm on top of cover directly by edge which appears to be a tiny repair
