A fine George III silver gilt christening knife and fork with faceted citrine handles, by Eley & Fearn, London, 1816 and 1818 respectively, the fork apparently without maker's mark, both with floral-chased ferrules, the fork further chased down stem with leafage and fruiting vines, both inscribed with "IIR to GY", in original fitted box lined with ivory silk, knife 18.1 cm. long.
Good condition, minuscule nick to edge of knife blade, minor scuffing to box
